From 13 to 14 October 2012, in Zheng Zhou city took place the meeting devoted to the study of TCM and the "I Ching" ("Book of Changes") in China and Taiwan. China Association of TCM acted as organizer of the meeting. The following organizations were co-organizer: Henan province scientific community of TCM, the Association on cooperation and development of TCM in China and Taiwan, the Taiwan Society of Pharmacologist, Society of research the "Book of Changes" in the Anyang city. The meeting was attended by more than 300 Chinese and Taiwanese experts.

The purpose of the meeting was to hold the research and discuss the scientific origins of TCM and "Book of Changes", search for links between them, the promotion and development of research in this area. To attend the meeting and make presentations were invited well-known experts in the field of TCM and "Book of Changes", and specialists who apply effective treatment modes.

During the meeting were discussed themes concerning the number magic in "Book of Changes" and the number science in TCM, relationship of TCM and "Book of Changes", their joint development, application of the "Book of Changes" in the practice of TCM, treatment chronic diseases with help of TCM, and also the questions related to effective treatment modes.

The founder of Image Medicine - Professor Xu Mingtang was invited to the meeting (photo: on the second row of the presidium, second from left) as a special guest. Professor Xu Mingtang gave a lecture on "Application of creative thinking in "Book of Changes" and in pulse diagnosis", and also he demonstrated the practical application of pulse diagnosis for the vision of the image and finding a disease. Speech of Professor aroused great interest and made a deep impression on the audience.
